Mikkel has anhialated 3 good opponents since his fight with Carl, showing maybe even an improvement in power.
Carl has had a rougher schedule but that could be to his detriment. He is older and could come in tired like Benn did against Malinga. He may have burnt himself out in the gym.
Green put Kessler down before he knocked Green down. Are you sure Kessler, at 33, isn't worn out a bit.
Everyone is picking Froch for a reason I think.
In my opinion, this is one of those rare legacy-defining fights for both guys. If Kessler leaves England with his second win over Froch, it's huge for his legacy. It means the only people to have beat him are Calzaghe and Ward. No shame in that considering that both guys are considered the top of the super middleweight division historically. If Froch drills Kessler, he avenges one of his two losses, and he can lay claim to beating every top super middleweight out there other than Ward during his prime era. Again, quite the accomplishment. Say what you want about the Dirrell fight, but at the end of the day, Ward doesn't have a win, disputed or not, over Dirrell, and Froch does. Froch needs this win badly.
