I know it's not the first time he's been stopped but the first two times were when he was an inexperienced teenager before his ego swelled up to the size of a blimp. So how do you think he'll comeback? IMO if he can shrug it off and still can take punches and fire off, he should easily beat up Rios and stop him late on cuts alone, but if he does a Roy Jones and well has flashbacks and clams up Rios can very well make it a tough night. Your thoughts?

Agreed. It does add some intrigue. I wonder also if the fire is still there or is he fighting cause he has to. In addition smaller guys that fight as he does do not normally have a long shelf life. I think Rios has a decent shot and I think it has more to do with Manny upstairs. Of course it could also look like Margarito 2.

I could see Pac taking a more conservative approach and pot-shotting him for 12 rounds. Rios doesn't have the timing or explosive speed that Marquez has where he needs to be worried about getting caught with something he doesn't see coming.

I think a Pac decision win is the best bet. He's fighting a guy who he knows has an iron chin, is tough as nails and loves to bang, but is obviously a lot slower and technically inferior. I think he'll cruise to a decision and not overexpose himself trying to get a KO.

I think the crushing KO will see Manny fighting more cautiously than ever. On one hand you could argue that any hope that Rios had of catching him is now slim to none yet on the other you could argue that Manny will be forced to open up if he is to stop the meathead from simply pouring in. For me Rios is one of the most overhyped shitcunts I have ever laid eyes on and Manny has always annihilated guys with his style so I see this being a beautiful opportunity to chug down some beers and yell as a real "bad motherfucker" destroys that braindead fuckwit Rios.

Look how Alvarado dominated Rios when Alvarado turned the second fight into a boxing match. We are talking about that Rios aren't we. Many will probably go toe to toe for a bit but he is too smart to make this a Rios fight. Did anyone notice the face Mannys wife had during his last fight. I wonder if she is nagging him to stop fighting. If she is that might be a plus for Rios. As a great man once said " a house divided can not stand" Incessant nagging can linger in one's mind and cause problems. That is what forced me to give up my boxing career before it even started. I really think Rios is starting to get "Drain Bamage" as every time he talks it's sounds like me when I was in an alcoholic stupor.

Pac Man's best performance or at least one of them was against Margarito, I do not think he can hit that level of performance again but half that should be sufficient to beat Rios.

It's a dangerous fight in that nobody knows how Manny will bounce back from that huge KO, but otherwise Rios doesn't have a god damn thing for him. As has been said, this is Brandon Rios for christs sake. If Pacquiao can't beat the crap out of him without taking serious damage, he needs to retire right away.

Rios is getting stopped early. It will be so one sided that Rios is probably already a bit sore thinking about it.

I'm not going to try to say what motivates Manny.
I don't think he is going to change the way he fights though, he likes to give the fans a good fight so he'll be aggressive. He will take chances by doing the unexpected, and if he gets KOed again it will be an exciting fight until the end, that's the way he fights, that's the kind of fights he likes the fans to see.
I would really like to see Manny do well but there are no guarantees in boxing so I'm prepared for anything except a boring fight.
