Lopez did really well, I thought he was going to stop Maiadana for a couple of rounds there.

was a fun fight, and maidana seems to always come back, he seems like he's ready to go and boom he gets the other guy out of there. I do personally think he should have stayed at 140 if he was able to since his power was crazy there. Don't want to see lucas and marcos go at it, at least for a while since im pretty sure they'd shorten their careers. fan of em both and they would just fuck each other up, two trains colliding.

They fought 4 times as amateurs, Maidana won 3 and one draw. I know its a different game in the pros but mightnt be as one sided as you think

Matthysse wouldnt slaughter Maidana. This was a fair win for Maidana and I would like to see him end the career of Ortiz next and a Khan rematch. Matthysse can come a year later. Let that one simmer and build first.

I don't think we'll see Maidana and Matthysse. These guys are riding huge career momentum and can't see Maidana going back to 140 nor should he. Hes boxing a little bit better and he is a true puncher, the powers there. Either way it certainly wouldn't be a blow out for two guys who can stop grazing cattle with one shot and get hit.
