Two or three fights ago, maybe around the Marquez fight, Floyd was shown sparring in the ring with some massive middleweight who was supposed to have an amazing left hook to the body. Floyd was letting him batter his body and wasn't bothered at all by the power. There was a more extensive version on youtube if somebody can remember who it was. Not that a video proves anything but I don't think Canelo will be able to land enough to the body to slow Floyd down or do any real damage.

I want to say it was Omar Henry? Believe I saw that as well, it would've been in the build up to fighting Cotto since Henry emulated his style so closely. He was just a 154 lber I believe but certainly much bigger than Floyd naturally. The guy died not long ago of a rare cancer at just 25, pretty sad.

Key word is letting him. Punches are easier to handle when you know there coming.
