Ah, boxing! Things change from year to year, month to month, fight to fight and day to day. It keeps you on your toes.

I'm not saying he's gonna be an all time great but KOing Khan the way he did is still better than anything Matthysse has done, including his win over Peterson
Respectively, no way. Fact that Peterson holds a win...ped soap opera aside...over Khan not to mention Garcia being scuffed up early in that one says otherwise. Khan was also nearly knocked out by a recycled version of Julio Diaz last out. Funny thing happens to Khan when chin checked...he implodes like a Jenga pyramid.

I'm hopeful for Garcia. Hes a solid story and with sound ability, but he himself needs perspective.

    Exactly.

    Give garcia a break.
    He will get better.
Lets not make matthysse out to be anything that he isnt
How? Peterson had never been stopped and coming off good wins. Khan coming off loss to Peterson where he was clearly hurt and had been stopped by Presscott.

How good is Garcia? I dont know, probably not that good though. He is way overrated from one good victory against another hugely overrated fighter.

I would like to see Khan vs Garcia 2. Khan looked n awesome in the first couple of rounds until he got tagged.

Nobody had Knocked Peterson out before. Prescott had already knocked out Khan. So yeah Matthysse is way more impressive. 32 KO's to Garcias 16. Garcia has some pop, Mattysse has dynamite. Power isn't everything but for these two fighters it's the first quality that jumps out, and Garcia has had his breaks. Lets see if he jumps in with Matthysse or avoids him like the plague.

The same Judah that knocked down Floyd? And who took Floyd to the one of the best fights Floyd ever had?

Yup. Only in boxing can a man lose fights- Lucas vs. Judah and Alexander- but people give you credit as if you won the fight.

Only in boxing do fighters get credit for taking hard fights. Lucas will fight anyone, Garcia will not.

    When has garcia ducked anyone?

    Judah beat matthysse
    Khan beat judah
    Garcia beat khan and judah.
Why o why is matthysse now the one everyone is ducking?

Garcia was offered a Khan rematch and chose a Morales rematch instead for less money. Garcia is going to vacate his belt to avoid a fight with Matthysse.

You are clearly clueless when you say Judah beat Matthysse, Garcia beat Judah, therefore Garcia is better. Morales beat Pac, Chavez and Barrera and Garcia beat Morales so Garcia is better then Pac, Barrera and Chavez... Retard

Not to mention Morales looked like shit bad in both Garcia fights.

I didnt know Garcia ducked Khan. Khan was out classing Garcia bad until Garcia landed that blind shot that changed the fight. Beautiful counter tho.

I would say if Garcia is avoiding fights, Khan is who he will avoid. I don't want to say the hook that changed the Khan fight was luck but considering Garcia closed his eyes and turned his head totally around when he threw it was definately a desperate punch.

A lot of people say Im harsh on Garcia, which I may be, but I actually like him. I just dont think he is as good as people are hyping him to be and the fact is he hasnt really fought anyone that good. Judah was well past it, Morales was well past it and Khan is Khan. When I look for credible guys for him to fight I dont see him beating them. At Light welter you have Matthysse, Alvarado and Khan and I think Khan is best for him there and at Welter you have Floyd, Marquez, Bradley, Alexander and I dont see him beating any of them.
