Mallinagia stops Broner in 9 rounds

Paulie Malignaggi seldom stops anybody, but I will be supporting him and hope he can outwork Broner for the decision. Paulie will need to box better than last time out though and fight a very smart fight on the outside. If he can outhustle Broner and keep him off then he has a shot. Also, Broner isn't really tested at this weight class at all. I think there is a massive leap between the likes of Cotto, Hatton and that of Broner. What evens it out a bit is the weight and that Paulie seems to have slowed a little, thus I have it a pick 'em. I dislike people who gurn excessively and Broner is a gurner. I just don't like him.

Everybody wants Paulie to win, me too, but Broner is going to be too fast, too quick on his feet, with too much power and too well conditioned. Too young, too.
I will say this, Paulie is no Gavin Rees so Broner is going to have to deal with too many jabs, Paulie's favorite weapon.

Paulie saddly never had any pop to go with his world class chin and heart, if he did he may have won some of his BIG fights.. as it is he's to battle worn to even steal a few rounds, aas tough as he is I think he gets stopped later middle rounds.

But, faded, old Paulie did clearly win 4 rounds and was never close to being stopped.

Predictions are tough....

I thought Banks was gonna KO Mitchell again instead of pussy foot around with him from the 4th round til the 12th.

You pretty much got it. Paulie had a good game plan and fought valiantly, but fell short a bit. I had it 116-112 for shit head.
