Dejesus took on and beat the best lightweight in history in Duran, Nelson lost to Leija at 135, it clearly wasn't his best weight

Are u really gonna mention the Leija fight bro? lol Nelson was about 75 years old.

Nelson would have beat Leija at any weight in his prime..

If not for Roberto Duran we would be talking about Esteben De Jesus as one of the best Lightweights of all time. De Jesus won the first of their 3 epic encounters and knocked down Duran twice in successive fights 1 & 2.
Nelson was at his best at Super Featherweight, at 135lb i give the edge to De Jesus who had a wicked left hook.

but he wasn't in his prime at 135 at any point, that's my point entirely, Dejesus would have beat him at lightweight with not too much effort put in

Asumah was an ATG at super featherweight, I do not know if Esteban De Jesus fought at that particular weight but if he did I would say Nelson wins.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
