I think Macklin has the ability to put him under pressure which will make it interesting. I still think Golovkin looks like a fighter that could crumble when things go against him. However, I also wouldn't be surprised if Macklin was bombed out early, Golovkin really does look a sicko puncher.

Haha - I'm terrible for that.

I think Golovkin will iron him out inside 8 rounds. I just hope Macklin puts him under it, to see how Golovkin reacts, before getting flattened.

Under dog? I have Macklin as favorite.

GGG hasn't fought nearly the same quality. His best scalp? Gzregorz Proksa probably.

Macklin wont try to pressure Golovkin, he will be cautious like he was vs Sergio and perhaps moreso. As soon as he opens up he leaves himself vulnerable to the counter attack of the more powerful, quicker man and he gets taken out.

I dont see his fight lasting too long.

Matthew gets hit to much and will be right there in front of him but GGG will be right there also. I'm eager to see if he can grind one out. Should he prevail I hope Barker deals with Geale and then gets a shot at the indestructible one.

Yh mate, Proksa was literally my favorite fighter, until he came to my country fora fight and was out pointed by Kerry Hope, a middle weight with 1 knockout on his record in 23 fights

Haha Macklin fav you crazy bastard. Whos Macklins best scalp? Asikainen? Varon? Proksa is still better then them. Id love to see Macklin do it but Golovkin beats him in every department, strenght, speed, boxing skills, experience.

While I greatly admire Macklin and he is my favourite British middleweight ahead of Barker and Murray, he is going to get ruined by GGG after taking on a prime Martinez. I am looking forward to this fight.

Not knowing alot about either young man I think Mack acquited himself against Sergio very well and deserves props for chasing him all over the ring! GGG I've seen twice and he looks pretty well schooled and he seems to have heavy hands as advertized!
I know that GGG has excellant supervision and his team is a well prepared unit!! I'm hoping for a hard fought bout and I'm leaning towards GGG to win and to stop Mack around the 6th! Ray.
