Now i grant you that he deserved the KO from mayweather for the headbutt that he did, but he fought with a broken jaw for a few rounds but then couldn't do it anymore.
Wouldn't really call that quitting, yes many boxers fought with broken jaws. The likes of Ali and Sweet Pete come to mind. However its hardly quitting if you can't continue since the one place your opponent tends to punch happens to be broken.
You're asking a fighter to put his future well being on the line and its already a dangerous enough sport. People have died in it, people get concussions, people commit suicide due to the sheer amount of brain damage they suffered. People can't control their bowls due to nerve damage and yet you brand him a quitter because he couldn't fight with a broken Jaw?
That's very cruel of you, it takes guts just to get into that ring, there are some boxers that I can't stand: David Haye, Adrian Broner, Chavez Jr. but even as much as I hate their personality I still will show them a decorum of respect for getting into that ring.
No i don't think he was a quitter in that fight. But I suppose we will disagree on this, which is fine.
