I sure hope not, he's barely 27 whats he retiring for?

He says he wants to concentrate on Manny Pacquiao promotions, but surely the best way to promote Manny Pacquaio is by pursuing a boxing career!

I'd be gutted if he leaves this early, if he does he hasn't fufilled his legacy.

I mean by beating Morales and Berrara Paccy ends their reigns and begins his own........you don't quit when you just vanquished the champions, thats when your own legacy starts!

Paccy needs to unify the division, he's not even won a title yet!

Hell why not?? He has Money!!! He has been in and beaten some of the best this era has to offer...He has dominated...Thrilled...and most likely made himself a spot as a future HOF fighter....Your not supposed to leave the sport beat up...He has the right idea...The guy didnt have a second rate career with just one good win....He just shows he is smart and he can fight....He has 47 fights by time he quits he will have almost or 50 ( they always have to go one more time)..by time he is done....As a fan I hate to see him leave but as a person who has been around the sport and known dozens of fighters who should have left sooner...Good Decision if he does...You have a long time left after boxing even if you retire late ( in your 40's) he doesnt want to go through the rest of his life unhealthy...can you blame him?

If he is retiring in a year,he best prepare well because h has to fight MAB,Em and JMM and if Valero is ready by the end of the year,he can take a few black eyes with him!! Naa,if the man wants to retire and as sad as I would be,I would respect his decision, because his level of competition in comparison to other so called P4P number 1 guys has been extraordinary and he has given us so many thrills, wether you like him or not,he's exciting and has been good for boxing.(I'm saying this and I'm a Morales fan!) I respect whatever Manny does.
