    Default pacman to retire

A report out today by The Manila Standard Today.com indicates that Manny Pacquiao says he plans to retire from competitive boxing as early as next year, 2007.

Pacquiao told this in an interview with reporters on Wednesday in General Santos City. Pacquiao said he wanted to focus on his businesses, and continue withManny Pacquiao Promotions.

The Minal Standard quotes Paquiao as saying: “Maybe after about two fights, I will retire already. I want to personally supervise my business ventures. It really makes a difference when one manages his own business.”.

Pacquiao faces Erik Morales in a rubber match on Nov. 18 in Las Vegas. Then Pacquiao will follow up with a fight against Marco Antonio Barrera.

Pacquiao indicated to the press that he didn't want to retire with physical or mental disabilities and wants to enjoy his life and the quality of it after he hangs up his gloves.

I sure hope not, he's barely 27 whats he retiring for?

He says he wants to concentrate on Manny Pacquiao promotions, but surely the best way to promote Manny Pacquaio is by pursuing a boxing career!

I'd be gutted if he leaves this early, if he does he hasn't fufilled his legacy.

I mean by beating Morales and Berrara Paccy ends their reigns and begins his own........you don't quit when you just vanquished the champions, thats when your own legacy starts!

Paccy needs to unify the division, he's not even won a title yet!

Come on Manny don't quit now!

    You joking right!

Look surely Manny must know that the absolute WORST way to build his Manny Pacquiao promotions is to engage in some humiliating self degrading celebrity reality tv show crap!

    heres the article

Move over Elvis Presley, there is a new King in Town. Manny Pacquiao, Boxing's Superstar is trying his hands at something new...singing.

The Sun Star reports that Pacquiao staged an inclusive concert at the Metro Bar along West Avenue in Quezon City on Sunday night.

Pacquiao told the media he was more nervous singing for people on stage than fighting in a boxing ring.

Pacquiao also stressed that his music concert was done as a thank-you to the support he has recieved from the ABS-CBN and for all the Filipinos.

What are you thought on this
He is one of the few boxers that I can say, win or lose he is exciting to watch. If this is true, you can't really blame him... he has dished out a lot, but at the same time he has taken a lot as well.
