I no what you mean, but Golovkin can fight and so can Rigo both outstanding Amateur Champions,
I've never bother with what commentators have to say, having watched both fighters in the Amateur
and pro ranks. I come to my own conclusions, on the fighters I watch having watched so MUCH boxing
through the years, sometimes its hard to be impressed but Golovkin does.!![]()

I really don't know who is hyping him so much or being unrealistic about his prospects, he simply looks like a terrific fighter, and he's not fighting in a deep division. It's quite simple. Who is actually saying he shouldn't fight Quillin or Murray, Barker etc, of course those would be good to see. There is just every chance those guys wont want to fight him or the fights wont happen for whatever reason. The most ridiculous posts by far regarding GGG have been coming from this Onetime fellow who seems to have a pretty clear agenda.

Yeh I was just pointing out above that Rigo was very much pushed on Ama. pedigree and style etc. It came up and said he was in a mold even when he was boxing the doors off Donaire. It's a huge contrast even though both had success... when Golovkin comes up you don't think amatuer record etc. Up until now they are two different worlds, though with the new rules and pro system next Olympics its going to be very very interesting!
Mr. Fenster, I've been involved with the sport a very long time and when I here discussion discrediting an accomplished fighter who has lost 5 bouts out of close to 500 theres is NO reason to get into it with fans who have limitations evaluating talents!
As to your comments about me, my signature is my name if your one of those name calling little fellows I'll do my best to avoid you!! I like children but disrespectful ones need to be seen and not heard!
Boxing has always engaged fighters from all over the world and once the topic turns to cultures instead of skills its to late to discuss, it gets to personal then!!!
GG can fight and box and if he stays ast 160 as the Middleweight Champion and accepts all challengers at HIS weight he'll reign a long time!! Its very refreshing to see a young man with credentials and power. Next to the Heavyweight title the Middleweight title was always the most prestigious but today the fans want fighters to jump in and out of weight classes like their playing checkers! GGG is the best 160 pounder today and if Sergio can get healthy enough I'm sure GGG will stop him and if Junior can get to 160 he'll be KO'd. Eventually he'll move to 168 because no one at 160 will fight him.
To bad he won't stay at Middle and venture up to 164 to fight Froch and those guys in 10 round main events! He stays Middleweight Champ and fights out of his weight class. All champs used to do that and it was successfull for all! Once a year you defend against the number one then you fight within your own promotions!! (what Mayweather does hahahaha)
So thats that, good luck and have a nice nite!!! Ray Corso
