Maybe so. After the first take down Silva did stuff a couple tho. Looked like he wasnt to afraid to be taken down.
I don't know I only remember chris attempting one more after but either way its not like silva fought differently than he usually does, people say silva should kept his hands up and he wins, when did silva ever fight that way?

I think he had many opprotunities to counter. He made Weidman miss many times in which Weidman was left wide open.

Sure having his hands up would have helped but your right when has Silva done that.

I think if Silva would have just go to business he would have KO'd Weidman.

Would've could've but he didn't seem to want to. In the past silva counters this missed punches. And if I remember correctly silva doesn't really play around until he has complete control. He didn't even land nothing significant before he started clowning
I don't understand why anyone is arguing, the fight was Silva's to lose, which he did. Silva has been taken down plenty so I don't think he was upset about the first round. Why he was clowning around with his hands down in front of a fighter few have seen a lot of is a mystery to me, Silva had plenty or warnings about Weidman and decided to ignore them.
Maybe he was trying to impress RJJ. Whatever the reason, congrats to Weidman because he did KO Silva for a great win. I'm really interested to see how everything plays out.

I dont think anyone is arguing. We all pretty much agree on everything. Just discussing.

I would bet a serious amount of money on an immediate rematch.
