Incidentally, before he was KO'd Silva was discussing a boxing match against one Roy Jones.

I feared Silva could beat Roy even in a boxing match or make it humiliatingly close due to Roy being totally shot and so merciful in recent years as to let anyone go the distance with him.

IF they do indeed box maybe Roy will be inspired by the recent KO loss of Silva and put some mustard on his shots.

*please don't be cocks and bury this in the mma section as it very much pertains to boxing, thanks*
    Pretty clear what you meant.

Could, would doesn't matter. That type of thinking is just moronic. It's that simple. No need to get all offended. You are the one who said it.

Your thinking is moronic that mma guys can't box at all and your ignorant bashing of mma.

Come down to our gym and try to outbox the #3 UFC bantamweight in the world, Michael McDonald.

You'll have to have your Mommy or Daddy sign a waiver though first.

I never said they couldn't box. I said no active or inactive MMA fighter would be able to beat Roy Jones in a boxing match. Not even this current shot Roy Jones. And they wouldn't be able to beat Pawel Glazewski either. That's the Polish kid. I'm sure McDonald whips everybody in your gym. And I'm sure he has you believing he could destroy Nonito Donaire if he really wanted to. But in reality it's not true. Destroying you and your buddies might make him a superstar in your gym. But he gets massacred in a pro ring against a pro boxer. It's the reason he's an MMA fighter

I worry about this shot Roy Jones is my point. I've lost a lot of faith in him. You may not be concerned Anderson could KO him, but I am.

No, I'm not crazy about the guy and don't know him that well. Sparred him a few years ago and got my ass whipped not dropped or hurt but bested, but I by no means think he could beat Donaire, even if he would have a size advantage seein as he fights at 135 (that's mma bantamweight).
