What are your thoughts on JAVIER FORTUNA ??

I was a bit disappointed with him against hyland. Hyland is pretty average and I thought he would get him out of there. Has looked good in other fights tho so just a bad day in the office but he could struggle when stepping up in class

Yea that was dissapointing but that was a case of a young fighter having an off day or just choking under the bright lights of HBO.

If memory serves me right, they fought on the Pac-Marquez undercard and that was a huge stage for a young fighter like Fortuna to be in. It's understandable if he froze.. It happens to everybody.

I dont even count that fight against him though because he won and looked sensational in his next bout..

I give him alot of credit for knocking out Cristobal Cruz few fights before that. Cruz has always been a sturdy warrior and Fortuna handled him without breaking a sweat..

Ive been saying this for awhile but Id pick Fortuna over Russell..

I have a hunch that Russell has a weak chin so I'd agree with Fortuna beating him and I'd go with a stoppage.i think Russell has the better skills tho so if he has a solid chin I'd say Russell takes it
