Wasn't a body shot KO but it should've been. Ward-Gatti round 9. Mickey annihilated Arturo to the body and even Manny Steward was saying it's over, he's not gonna recover from that. He did though, still it was a vicious body attack. I remember Manny Steward from the HBO booth yelling "keep going to the body" and he never did. Great fight.

one of the the most perfect body shots a guy got up from was when Marcos Maidana went down by Amir Khans shot... Maidana was yelling in pain... BUT that guy has melons for balls.

curiously... no one has mentioned Hopkins ko punch of DELaHoya...? man, I've questioned this shot for years..to this day, I say"FIX". Who hits the canvas after going down like that.. DeLaHoya Is slapping the Canvas like "u got me"... also, u NEVER hear anyone , including the fighters, talking about that shot... u would think that when the golden boy gets Ko'ed, ..in a fight he was winning..there would be some talk... LASTLY, they go into partnership months later... c'mon, really... these guys planned this and made a big payday without risk...both r greedy bastards... .

lol..yea..for the millions they got... DeLahoya has proven to be greedy many times in his career and now as a promoter...Hopkins has proven he'd do anything for a paycheck... even the anouncers say"didn't look like much.. Hopkins is know for body shots?..has he ever ko'ed anyone with a body shot? has DLH ever gone down from a body shot?....NOOOOOO... case closed.

Never said ODH was honorable but he does have pride in that ring. It was a good shot which I think was unexpected which is why it hurt Goldern Boy.

My favourite body shot KO is one of Roy Jones and it was with a right hook and not a left. You really have to punch someone hard to the left side of their body to take them down, as there is no liver there and your spleen isn't really attached to nerve bundles.

Marquez-Robbie Peden..

If I remember correct, Marquez punished Peden to the body from the very first round and by the later rounds, Peden was so softened up that he literally threw up in the corner.
