Geale out works Barker. Romero out boxes Kiko. Cant believe Frampton didnt get the shot against Romero and might be taking on Rigo instead.

Barker has it in him to stop Geale or beat him on points. He will outbox him all night and may stop him late.

Frampton's team wouldn't have taken that date or traveled. They'll be able to get Romero to the UK

If Barker can't put a dent in Geale early he might struggle coming down the stretch. Proper 50/50 fight

Geale has proven his worth and Barker is at his level. No doubt it's a 50/50 fight and it's hard to pick a winner. Whoever does win, it's a great win for either man. Hope barker can do it though.

Geale wins on points. I think Barker does OK for the first half of the fight but Geale wins most of the later rounds. I've never seen Romero box, nobody on his record I've heard of, might fancy Martinez for an against-the-run-of-play KO here.

Theres a few vids of him on youtube. He beat Lopez in mexico to win the title and had a point taken off him. I think he looks good and doubt Kiko will trouble him.

Agreed with everyone that calls Geale/Barker 50/50 fight. On first look, I can see one of two things happening, Barker knocks Geale out, or Geale outboxes Barker to a decision. Will either guy face GGG next?

A Barker KO? How do you come to that conclusion? I think it's definitely going the distance. Geale has a good chin and Barker isn't a big puncher.

Actually, Barker has a relatively high KO percentage and is coming off of two knockouts. Geale has been down a number of times in his career according to Boxrec. I'm not super convinced either way though.

True but Barkers KOs are against fighters made of far less then Geale. Geale went down a few times earlier in his career but hasnt in a long time.

Romero's last four opponents should be recognizable to anybody who follows American Boxing.

Lopez, Esquivias, Landeros, and Chris Avalos who just fought on ESPN past weekend..

He'll also have no problems with Martinez..

    I doubt Barker beats Geale..

Odds are pretty close for the Geale-Barker fight on odds checker. Geale slightly favored. Decent odds for Geale on the cards.

The 8/11 on Geale is a decent price.

    Yup. Tempting!

I really can see Geale on the cards.

I liked how Barker boxed a bit with the high guard against Martinez. He just couldn't sustain it. Then I liked how he tore through Kerry Hope. Call me an idiot, but he seems like he might have more than one gear. I have to favor Geale because I think Geale is pretty good boxer all around, but couldn't you see Barker with the upset special?
