I just saw a breaking news clip that you now have a new prince. Congrats. I've never understood the fascination with English Royalty (being a Yank) but I do know that it's quite a big deal. There are many things about Americans that people don't quite get! Who knows, maybe he'll grow up to be welterweight champ.

No point, but this site is really my only connection to people across the Atlantic. I just wanted to get a reaction from "real" Brits and not the American Media reports that's all. I also understand that this is a boxing site. Your point?

Just to generalise a bit ..... there's nothing that British society likes better than being looked down upon and made to feel inadequate (hence inventing a monarchy that we can feel socially inferior to). Cue lots of media driven forelock tugging, bowing and scraping ..... all tinged with a bit of republican sentiment, and smattering of pity about the life its being born into.

Huge recession, tough times ...... lets give the masses something to feel pointlessly happy or entertained by. Anybody would think it was done on purpose
