Not sure why anyone is surprised by this outcome. In his prime he's a secondary vision of a less then prime Shane that gets punched more. I took him in the challenge cause I underrated Soto.

I've always like Soto-Karass. I saw him fight in Arizona in 2005 against Manuel Gomez. Gomez was the #1 contender at the time and Soto-Karass took the fight on short notice and beat Gomez, though it was scored a draw. His brother got kod by Urbano Antillon on the undercard.

I liked Berto but have to admit he was a media product who is on his way down. He has had some serious injuries but shown a lot of heart in his fights.

This is the guy who gave us Ortiz-Berto. There is a market for Berto as an opponent, I'd put him in a fight with Josesito Lopez and hope for a war. Also after Senchenko Kell-Berto.
