I can sense the crowds clamouring for a Tournament... it's too juicy now.
Post Mayweather- which we know he won't participate due to his Showtime deal- we will need this.
Quillin; Martinez; Golovkin; Chavez; Andy Lee; and Sturm.

160-168 is super middle wrong division and no.
Also Mayweather is 147 or 154 why mention him?
And Martinez and Golovkin have exclusive HBO deals.
Clarify the floyd part lol.
No I don't think a tournament is possible anytime soon but I'd love to see it.
Unfortunately, as OneTime stated, promtional issues would get iin the way.
I'd love to see a mini tournamet at mw between quillin, ggg, chavez jr and rubio
A 168 tournament is more realistic imo.
It be fun to see but hard to do, promotional issues and injuries especially if its a round robin. I mean hell I feel like the super six lasted like two years and half the fighters in it in the second part of the first round weren't even the guys that it started out with...
They'd all have to be under one roof, and even then as seen with the Super Six people drop off and politics come in. Its not out of the question for cross promotion but Golovkin and Quillin dont need a tourney, they just need to fuckin fight already. I'd be shocked if Jr can even make 160ish to think of it.
It's a nice idea but these tournaments end up being shit because of dropouts etc...and Felix Sturm? Forget about it. That waste of space pisses his pants once he sets foot outside of germany or if he has to fight someone with a ko percentage above 50%. The dude went to court to try and avoid a mandatory defense of his crap title against Golovkin. Let me repeat that...a proffessional boxer went to court to deny the rightful contender a shot at his title. No respect for that man at all.
I know that...but Golovkin was the mandatory for Sturm a few years ago and rather than fight, Sturm went to court to avoid it. You're a proffessional fighter...Man up...on the other hand...Golovkin is making some serious noise and I always know I'm going to get my moneys worth when I watch that guy.
The first thing that happened when Golovkin became the mandatory is Golovkin's team said Sturm has no choice, in boxing if your team doesn't negotiate in good faith you won't get fights, Golovkin's team is doing the same thing to Quillin talking about how Golovkin is a ticket saler but he was on a Mikey card in January and they dumped on Showtime saying HBO pays more which is not true so don't believe what comes out of Golovkin's camp.
I would like to see a middleweight tournament, Ward won the super middleweight already. GGG would win the middleweight with Sergio not being able to finish it.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
This is a crock. The term mandatory isn't exactly vague, surely? Sturm shouldn't have had a choice there. You want to hoists Sturm's resume over Golovkin while skirting around the fact that he was scared to fight him go aheadWhat do you even mean by negotiate in good faith anyways?
