I read about it, he fought the top fighters and no shame in losing to Quawi who was a beast. I guess in jail there are no diversions and all you can do is train.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Interesting as the two of them must have known each other. Same prison, same boxing program. Must have been a little surreal for Qawi to enter the same jail for a fight he was recently released from. @CutMeMick is right, several of his fights aired on ABC's Wild World of Sports.
Yeh when I first got interested I talked to a dude who knew a dude and traded for a couple of his NBC fights. Very interesting to see the recognition he got with being locked up. Shame they just pulled the rug out from under him and just shut him down and black balled him basically.
What happened to him? Was he ever released?

He was kind of a regular on Saturday afternoon network boxing; IamInuit remembers three fights, but it seems like there were 5 or 6. If my memory is correct he and Qawi (Dwight Braxton at one point) did know each other from the prison boxing program and there was some animosity between them.
I think Scott was past it by then anyway, the cracks really becoming apparent when he was dropped twice in losing to Jerry martin. Scott had always been kind of an irresistable force and seeing him get knocked down was more than a little suprising.
Yes I remember watching Scott, fight Eddie Mustafa Muhammed , he was a tough SOB
and he lost to Braxton an other tough SOB.
I remember Braxton Knocking 7 bells out of, Sad Muhammed as well.
