Hey Adam, your boxing knowledge seems low.
Coming from you? That's a compliment...

If you found my opinions agreeable, I would really be worried.

It's not just about styles, it's about LEVELS you moron.

A five fight novice can have the right type of style to beat an elite veteran fighter's style... But they still have to be on the same fucking level to pull it off...

I've said for ages now that Cleverly was a warren manufactured paper champ, not genuinley world class...

He can have any style he wants. No ammount of having the 'right style' means that he has the calibre to actually perform at that LEVEL though.
Dont get so riled up Adam , you are basically pouring your heart out here for nothing. lol You are not understanding this so let me break it down for you just as I would for a 10 year old okaaaaay?

You keep talking about levels but history has shown that one doesn't have to be on the same " level " to beat his veteran opponent.

How would you explain Pacquaio jumping up a division to beat the #1 fighter in barrera in his very first fight at a new weight? Did people even fathom that he would be on the same " level " as barrera prior to the fight in 03?

WHat about Mayorga coming out of nowhere ( although be beat 6head )to score an early knockout over undisputed champ in Forrest .. What kind of level was he prior to that fight dumbass?

I can go on and on with this but im gonna assume you processed it.. you fuckin simpleton lol

Yes, it's all about styles and substance, idiot.. but coming from you who probably never been near a boxing ring, I can understand.

I don't care if nobody was talking to me, it's a thread Einstein. You're just being a clueless twit throwing around personal attacks for no reason as usual, what the hell would you know about having a backbone.

    10 bouts at light heavyweight.

    You?

(The guy with gloves on in my avatar might suggest to somebody with even the simplest powers of deduction that I have at least some ring experience? )

And Pac and Mayorga were genuine world class fighters, if you're stupid enough to think that Cleverly is anything better than a Frank Warren manufactured paper champion then that's your problem...

46 bouts as an amatuer.. I didnt pay attention but at a glance, I thought that was Andrew Golota in your avi..

Many unproven prospects and contenders fight nobodies until they fight somebody and there are upsets all the time so dont act thick just to reach for a point. I can't think of specific names right now but of all the years ive been in Boxing, ive seen countless fighters beating opponents they shouldnt have beaten..

What kind of killers did Jermaine Taylor fight prior to facing hopkins? Was Vince Philips any better than Cleverly prior to facing Tszyu?

Hey dick cheese, styles make fights and it's that simple. And when you are old and walking on thin ice like Hopkins, father time can catch up anytime especially when up against a workhorse like Cleverly.

Im not the only one thinks Clev would beat him. For a guy who claims to have had 10 fights, you sound kinda dumb.

99% of those people are Welsh, the rest are as dumb as you.

You keep putting Cleverly in with names like Taylor, Pac and Mayorga... But none of those guys were Warren hype jobs.

I'll have to give you the benefit of the doubt about fighting 'as an amatuer' (be more vague?), but nothing you've ever posted gives the impression that you know what it's about.

Cleverly = Hype job = Warren

Story now over, live with it!

Every middle/light heavy in the world wants to fight Bernard, Bernard gives them purse money as well as a boxing lesson from an old man.

Bernard beat Calslappy, easy in my book.

Sit back and wait for it, what, by the way is the WBO? Would that be the Wouldabeen Boxers Organisation?

    Alphabet and hype rules.

It does seem a trend for Frank Warren fighters to have a hell of an easy time to the WBO title. Anyone have some idea of how this started? I guess with the WBO being the most recent alphabet gang, it could have just been a case of the UK domestic scene being somewhat untapped at that point? It's easily the best in the world, but there have been a number of WBO champs who should really have only been fighting for the commonwealth or Lonsdale belts etc.

Its easy to work out, Warren just buys the lunch! (and optional extras).

Come on now Adam, Cleverly is a World class fighter he may have lost,! but he lost to a guy
no one wants to face, so you have to give him some credit,! Warren is not ever ones cup of tea
but it's part and parcel of the game.
I support fighters I LIKE, regardless if they are WELSH or not remember there has been many
fine WBO Champions, and crap ones no organization WBC , WBA IBF are whiter than white.
