Good point, however Kovalev really doesn't fight like someone who is worried about getting hit, wheras Stevenson does to a tee. Even in his rematch with Boone, Stevenson looked wary and didn't impress anyone.

Yeh, these two strike me as night and day when it comes to keeping a level head and being comfortable in their own skin as the saying goes. Kovalev hasn't face a big puncher, but boxing skill and being relaxed behind that arsenal when he does will bode well for him. Much of that can be contributed to having a mind like John D. Jackson in his corner also.
IMO it's a bit of a toss up, Kovalev looked more complete but Stevenson knocked out a MUCH better fighter and he did it in a single round
Provided Stevenson wins his next fight this fight will happen. HBO will be absolutely desperate to make this fight and I think Kovalev has enough boxing ability to stay out of the way of Stevenson's big shots and batter him to a fairly quick stoppage. Maybe five or six rounds.
Stevenson's is pure brawler with a one-punch power, Kovalev has power, boxing skills, the complete package. If Stevenson does take Kovalev out in 2, it's all Kovalev
