I think Pulev's time has come to get his title shot and I don't see too many problems for him against Thompson. After all Thompsons only getting this chance because he's enjoyed something of an Indian summer with two wins against Price.

I hope Pulev beats Thompson only so that we get to see Wladimir face Pulev assuming Wladimir gets by Povetkin. Otherwise, I'm rooting for Thompson to upset Pulev.

I was never a fan of Thompson.. Even with his close fights with Wlad and two victories over Price, I just dont think he's that great..
It's his size and southpaw style that makes him ackward but lighting wont strike against Pulev..
I got Pulev to beat him via comfortable decision.

This is a good, competitive HW matchup.
Tony Thompson is a durable, strong, fearless, crafty ring warrior who will fight anyone, anywhere.
Kubrat Pulev is a natural-born fighter, a strong, intelligent boxer with very good technical skills.

I put Thompson in my top 5 HW right now, he's a throw back, would have fit in well during the McCall, Holyfield, Lewis, Tyson era.
Happy we have him.
You say tomato,
‘n I say …… it correctly.
