You say tomato,
‘n I say …… it correctly.
I was gunna post this. Great to see he's negotiating with top contenders. I heard he was in negotiations with 5 top ranked Heavyweights. Boystov, Povetkin, Pulev, Helenius and Charr. My money is still on Manuel Charr. It was the first name that came to mind for me. I think it'll be easier to sell since Charr is a mouth, he turned up at the Haye-Chisora post fight presser to challenge Haye and he was Vitali's last fight.
I think Haye fans will be in for a bit of a surprise. I'm not saying David isn't talented, he IS talented, but he (and his fans) assume he's the #3 best (behind Wlad & Vitali) heavyweight by miles.....I don't see it so clear cut. Haye's successes at heavyweight have come vs older worn down fighters: Valuev, Ruiz, Barrett, Harrison....those guys were very old it's still up in the air as to how he will handle a young prime fighter. Yes Chisora was a very good performance, but that guy is extremely hard to read on whether he'll actually put forth an effort or not you've got him shitting the bed vs Fury, then busting up Helenius, and giving Vitali a decent fight, then getting blasted by Haye. That said I'm not 100% sold on Pulev as he's not been in vs the greatest fighters yet either. It will be a very interesting match.
I will say this though, I don't believe David Haye will fight someone he doesn't think he can KO by the middle rounds. Part of that is how Haye and his management percieve the other fighters but part of that is I think they also don't want Haye to be drawn into a battle because they have worries about how he'll hold up.
I think and have always thought Haye vs Adamek would be a good fight

I think its up to Haye to prove it. He certainly COULD be #3 but he could also be challenged for that by others.

Never heard of him, is he any good, could he beat Fury?
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
It seems that these fighters with under 20 fights are being rushed and fed to the wolves rather quickly. Price, Chisora, Helenius, Solis and Hammer have been exposed 1 way or another in recent years. Haye vs Povetkin is the ideal fight for both men and the heavyweight division in my opinion.
