Mike has a lot of demons. Brownsville Brooklyn is hell on earth and he is a product of that environment. To be where he is today is truly amazing.

He looked like it in hindsight. He had that hyper 'I can smell things and taste my food again' look. Senses clear out like a vacuum but hope he gets it together if he wants new promotions to succeed and not be just a gimmick.
This illness is going to be a life long battle for Tyson. I hope he finds a way to get on top of this and treats this illness like he treated 80s alphabet title holders! And when things are not going so well, he has the proper support around him.

The guy has spent most of his life around people who have tried to change him for the better and he has either stabbed them in the back or blamed everyone of them for his short comings which is bullshit. There are people who have been born in 3rd world countries that make Brownsville Brooklyn look like a playground and have been respectful individuals. Tyson was born a bad seed and always will be a bad seed. Good fighter but he is a follower a blamer and a weak individual.
I don't know why so many of you are shitting on Tyson, at least he's being honest and open about his shortcomings. How many of these classy, beloved athletes practice politics and hide their inner demons for so long, make excuses, blame others. At least Mike is now putting the blame where it belongs (on himself and himself alone) and trying to change his life.
At least yes...
I do not really think it matters what we write. If it is, and Tyson is than 'insecure' then it really could be over for him very soon.
Tyson always has provoked extremes in the boxing community, I guess to a degree that is his lasting appeal, and his politicking, as he does seem to play up to it...

I hope he stays well and keeps those demons controlled.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Sad.
This isn't really surprising at all. Anytime we've seen Tyson claiming to be happy or in a better place, he also seems loopy as hell. There are no pills to combat addiction, they are usually prescribed to help wane off a more harmful chemical dependency. If you rely on substances for instant gratification long enough, it's going to own you. Simple as.
Iron Mike Tyson, just as vulnerable as most people with problems, drink and drugs a part
of modern LIFE for some.! Do you show pity or say he was a waster,! ours is not to judge
you can have your opinion, he's this or that does money really make people happy at the
time yes maybe. Mike Tyson is a troubled individual, will he sort his life out I don't no that's
up to him alone, no one can stop him drinking or taking drugs only himself.![]()
