Yeah but the quality of boxing is better now. It is probably tougher to have 1 fight with a fighter of today than 5 with a fighter of then.

I'm glad things have improved and guys don't have to fight 500 times anymore. Boxing is a brutal game. Get in, make money, and get out while you can still spell your name.

Err yeah... I was clearly using Floyd as a comparison because he's the best in the world. Those old boys couldn't make what Floyd does for one fight if they had 50,000 let alone 500.

The quality of boxing is better now? You'll get some stern opposition to that view from some quarters. I forget what that guys name is that used to call Haye "13" all the time? Indeed just nuts. Greb fought 49 times in a year and I thing either Otto or Stribling even more. Gans finishes a fight and then jumps on a train all night to meet Langford on the very next day.
