To paraphrase the late Robert Kennedy:
There are those who look at Mayweather-Pacquiao and ask why..... I think of Mayweather-Pacquiao and ask why not?
Seriously. Who else is out there? Number one.
Number two......
He just gave Canelo Alvarez a shot.
Now here's a pop quiz for everyone:
Who has had the more accomplished career between the two.
Manny? or Canelo?

yeah the fans missed out bigtime on that fight.... the timeline has now sadly passed when it would have been competitive.

Floyd beat Manny but this fight would still be the richest fight in boxing history.

Manny would still be tougher opponent than a number of Floyd's recent fights, as Jack Kennedy said " we do this and the next thing not because they are easy, but because they are hard." Floyd will pick the easy and probably fight Khan so he can have a late in life KO to retire with.

I'm banning the next motherfucker who quotes a Kennedy.
Scared?! Ducking?! Some people really need to get a fucking clue. Floyd would have schooled Manny a few years ago...right now...he would brutalize him.
The Pacquiao/Mayweather horse has long since bolted & ended up in a Tesco 'beef' ready meal.
The time for them to fight was 2008/2009; sadly, in 2013, the fight no longer has the lustre it once had.

I dont think so man. Pac is on a whole different level. Even if he did get destroyed he wouldnt be considered a hype job. His resume is too good.
Also Pac is much different fighter. He has so much more speed and stramina. He can throw more punches and might not have the one punch power of Alvarez but can thor harder punches much more often. But this is a whole different debate.
On topic, Pac would never have been considered a hype job.
I think it does honestly. If they made this fight the next fight it would out sell the Alvarez fight. Its still the fight everyone wants to see but it seems to be pushed under the rug right now by the mainstream media.
This fight would have no problem being hyped up and it would be the biggest fight since Holyfield Tyson.
