she is clearly incompetent and a lot of the best jazz is extremely well liked.
Where does the clearness in the incompetence come from? She had a bad day at work this morning; she had another bad day with Pacquiao. I think also she has performed poorly in other fights. But I suspect most of the time she is very good at her job. Maybe she could do with some more 'training' in dealing with the big fights. That may involve her being 'rested' for a while. But it does seem very harsh to call someone incompetent with so little evidence. I know I would be out of a job, if your judgements and/or standards were used.

You are being too ruthless rocco!

As for George, you may have a point, he was certainly 'unique' in many of his traits, and that probably includes judging jazz.
Sir, stop and think for a minute, she had the Canelo vs Floyd fight a draw. That's not a "bad day" or a "bad night" at work. The lady does not know how to judge a fight, she should not be judging fights big or small.
She was listening to the crowd instead of watching the fight, it's that or she is corrupt. I do not believe in justifying a judge's poor performance, they should be held to the highest standard possible.
She had a "bad day" is a terrible, terrible, terrible excuse!

Scrutiny, this is what judges NEED. It's an opportunity with a mega fight like this to put a moon beam on crappy judging because we all know it happens every weekend not named Canelo and Mayweather and ya hardly hear a peep. I flip up the craptop this morning and the first thing I see on yahoo is judges in question. One thing that strikes me is...make these judges travel!!! Just as fighters. I don't think Ross has left the state of Nevada too often, its a comfort zone. See the same boxers over and over and it has to form a tilted familiarity when some guy comes to hometown for first time.

She does know how to judge a fight, she has a career to back that up.

Judges should rightly be pointed out when they make very bad decisions. I also agree it is important in such big fights the best available judges should be used. Looking back I did not see either camp complaining about her, in a fight that I think most figured would go the distance. As I do not think and have no evidence to suggest she is corrupt, I conclude to be constructive I need to look at the mind set of how a very competent judge got it wrong. I assume its comes down to the abstract aspects of judging, the stuff that is judging but cannot be written down. Ross got that very wrong, and it needs to be rectified, and I hope it is.

Fuck me of course she's corrupt 100%.

She definitely shouldn't be involved in big fights ever again and definitely should be investigated then forensics should swab her for Oscar jizz .

Thing is boxing is organised crime/corrupt firstly and Sport second.... always has been and always will be.

Yes she should be held accountable but The right man got the result here and I've seen far worse scoring many times in high profile fights.... Lennox mugged against Holyfield was probably the worst I've seen.

Judges are toying with fighters lives when they are paid off/leant on ... look at what happened to Michael Watson in the 2nd Eubank fight after he won the 1st by a mile ;-).

    Y! SPORTS

This article points out two obvious facts:

    1. Just how horrendous and borderline criminal this old lady's scoring of the fight was.

    and.....

    2. That no matter what Canelo fans want to think, it was a blowout and a shutout.... plain and simple. No "ifs, ands, or buts". Not since Floyd pitched a no-hitter at the hapless (albeit undersized) Juan Manuel Marquez, had he enjoyed such an easy day at the office.

How does one make it to the top of any occupation by being inept? This lady is straight up corrupt. She did this not once but at least twice! And how does an organization find out if someone is corrupt if they don't even investigate? Because they don't care and that's probably got a lot to do with even more corruption. The messed up part is even the 116-112 scorecard was pushing for Alvarez to win and that now somehow seems fair because of the atrocious CJ Ross card. The judges in the Lara/Williams fight were suspended and investigated and this fight was even more one sided. CJ Ross did this twice at the very top level of sports!!!
