Hatton was The Man at 140.
I don't remember him ducking anybody.
other than well Cotto at 140 when the debate was who was the man at 140 at the time, then yea he didn't duck anyone

i remember hatton continually saying he would catch up to cotto at 140, i dont remember anyone ducking anyone i think you just made that up

cotto was quite delicate at 140, seemed to be wobbled in most of his top fights

I think hatton had a point

On neutral territory, not a snowball's chance in hell. Hatton was a lower B level fighter.. He dont have a chance.

There was never any misunderstanding about THE champion at 140, Hatton took it from Tszyu, Cotto was nothing more than a belt holder at 140.

If Hatton was a lower B level fighter then your chum Fury doesn't even make the alphabet.
Somewhere around -Z I should think.

I'm not a huge fan of any one of these guys, but call me crazy I say Hatton grinds him down late especially at 140. I think even the Hatton that lost to Mayweather beats Broner because he can be hit and Ricky had his moments when he was relentless and that was against a much better defensive fighter in Mayweather so I think the success he would have in hitting Broner would only motivate him more to keep it coming. I think Broner has a lot of tools to be a darn good fighter but I think that he can be "mugged" and roughed up by fighter who can come with a relentless approach to make it ugly. I say Hatton wins one of those ugly decision that has people arguing about who imposed their will...blah blah blah, but a Hatton win no less.
If you think you can......you can, if you think you can't .......you're right!

Cotto only began to get "wobbled" at the end of 140 lb reign, he only was hurt badly in two fights, against Corley and Torres, Corley had power and even managed to rock Judah and Floyd, Torres went on to prove his power in later fights, and at that point Cotto was having trouble making that weight

Broner hasn't shown the mobility or basic defense for me to think otherwise. Hattons workrate pressure and power in the gut points and laughs at whatever Broner faced with Rees, Paulie or even a PDL. Broner sticks in that chicken wing arm, wide horse shoe stance I can see Hatton knocking him back on his heels into the corners with regularity.
