Was he foolish and reckless in sparring without a headgear and exposing himself to a fight-postponing injury?
Fuck yeah.
I knew you would attract flies with the fence-sitting comment.
Unfortunate choice of words from someone whose opinion I respect.
Nothing contradictory or fence-sitting about my comments, bro.
I invite you to reread them as many times as necessary until it sinks in.
I'll help if needed.
I could be a little daft and missing something. I smoke a fair bit of weed and am over 50. I'm understanding quite nicely I think. David Haye got cut in sparring. I dont know that he was sparring without head gear and even if he was so what? Lots of fighters do and have done this. A week before the fight sure that's ego or something and Murphy then entered the room. But I dont know that he was not wearing head gear unless I missed something.
Why was fence sitting such an insult. You dont believe anything was up but then conclude that there is. Its a Canadian expression. Please dont involve me in the board politics. I'm the same guy I was yesterday and believe that I call it all as I see it. There is nothing personal about this and especially this topic. I have no vested interest in David Haye. He could get hit by a bus Sunday on his way to a photo shoot and existentially I could care less.
Fact is you and others view this as something of ulterior in the motive department and I just think its nutbar to think so.
Fact is..... that is
INcorrect.
Ulterior motive implies something intentional.
Reckless and careless behavior is not necessarily intentional.
Asinine? Inconsiderate? Foolish? Par for the course?
Damn straight.
But not necessarily intentional.
It's not like you, IamInuit, to repeat the same opinion several times over, when I've repeatedly shown it to be untrue.
And please spare me the lecture on forum politics, my friend.
I make it my business to avoid confrontations with those I have little respect for.
Or..... to drag other people into my arguments.
Certain phrases, however, are open invitations that I personally do not welcome.
