Of course they do, but Wlad bases his entire style around it (perhaps because he is so afraid to get hit). I don't blame him for doing it either, but it leads me to conclude that he is not a great fighter, just a very effective one.

Put him in there with a fighter of equal size and comparable skill who won't let him get away with that shit and lets see what happens.

I would not. He does it by being bigger than his opponents and by, essentially, cheating. It's a shame too, because he is such a classy, intelligent guy.

I don't watch basketball, but was Shaq not a dominant player who won championships?

And regarding Ali, he was long before my time and I have honestly onyl seen a couple of his fights, so I can't fairly comment on him. All I know is that this is not boxing and this is not the way a great fighter handles himself within the ring.

If refs dqed or took points for holding Ali would lost a lot of fights Wald lost his mentor been champ for a decade and i am not sure he gives a fuck anymore. Not to mention i am not sure how old Wald is but he has got to be getting up there in his years maybe he might call it a day but 20 mill fight is nice though so maybe he sticks around for a while and just stacks up more cash.
