If you can be the greatest by simply being bigger than your opponent, Shaq would have been world champion for years.

This is a very calculated style, and he's taking what's being given. I've seen Ali do the same shit, and no one would question his greatness.

I don't watch basketball, but was Shaq not a dominant player who won championships?

And regarding Ali, he was long before my time and I have honestly onyl seen a couple of his fights, so I can't fairly comment on him. All I know is that this is not boxing and this is not the way a great fighter handles himself within the ring.

I mean Shaq would be a world boxing champion if all it took was being huge.

I'm with you in the fact that a fight like this is a disgrace to boxing, but I can't act like Wlad is the only guy in the history of boxing to do this shit. This kind of garbage is why people don't give a fuck about HW boxing.

    Ah, I misunderstood.

Wlad is not the old guy to do it, but his whole style is based around, essentially, cheating, and he does it blatantly and with no consequences. It's incredibly frustrating.

I don't think that's a fair assesment of how he usually fights, hell do shady shit here n there like most other fighters that can get away with it in most his fights but not to this extent in this one he shoulda been dqed or somethin

This was undeniably an extreme example, but Wlad holds more than anyone in the sport.

Props to Wlad for the win. Povetkin showed big heart was better than I originally thought. HBO's crew was pathetic. Kellerman and Roy were just hating nonstop....that's why everyone is switching to Showtime.

"Wlad's leaning, he's pushing" eat a dick you bastards Povetkin is short and in a crouch of course his head is going under Wlad's arm.

Win #61 and HBO boxing can screw off

That's half the story Lyle. As I've said before as a defence mechanism no problem. If you cant avoid getting into that position and cant get yourself out that's your look out. But jabbing as a means to get close enough to grab hold and lean on? That's pathetic.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
