it shouldnt have even got to round 7
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
It wasn't boxing, that's for sure. Closer to wrestling.
Hey knockdown or not Wlad was going for the KO....people have complained about him not trying to close the show and he tried right then to score the KO.
He was pushing because his hands were free and Povetkin was hanging on, he did the very same thing when he KO'd Sam Peter. I don't know of a single fighter who when he has a guy hurt won't try like hell to finish him, Wlad did push and he was warned and had a point deducted and the rest of the fight he went back to doing as he had been. He's damned if he does damned if he doesn't.
I guarantee you if Povetkin had Wlad hurt and Wlad was hanging on, everyone would be 100% for Povetkin pushing and doing whatever it took to get Wlad on the canvas.
Boxing is a rough game, Povetkin ain't the first or last guy to get tossed or pushed to the canvas
I have no issue with him being tossed down, hell I don't care if Klitschko picked him up and landed him on Michael buffers head.
My issue is that the ref shouldn't have counted it as a legitimate knock down, and he should have at the very least had a word with Klitschko about forearming.
You say tomato,
‘n I say …… it correctly.
Rocky Marciano did plenty of illegal things and I do not defend that. Klit does plenty of illegal things and Moonbat Lyle defends them.![]()
It was a complete shit show, but I did have it as a shutout for Klitschko.
Got up to 2-2 and then the Stella's started to win on effective aggression and legal punching.
Seriously, it was painful
It's only a foul when the ref calls it. You get some refs who will call everything, some won't call anything, some will warn a lot, some immediately take points....in 64 fights Wlad has seen a lot of refs, he's a pro, and if he bends the rules to his favor then he's joining a great deal of fighters who have also done that.
Hate to break it to you, but Wlad's "cheating"is nothing special
It's not defending "illegal tactics" it's just the way life works Brockton, sometimes you get the calls sometimes you don't. Had the ref warned earlier and taken a point earlier do you think that would have changed the result? I don't, but the reality of the situation is you have to play the hand you're dealt.

I thought wvlad was a massive winner on the cards as you would be with 4 knockouts but it was very messy for a heavyweight title fight
Looked like wvlad was trying to plank on Povetkin whenever he came in low but I don't blame wvlad. If he can get away with it keep doing it. It's the refs fault it was so bad to watch and he also ruled two knockdowns that were actually pushes.
Povetkin went up in my estimation. Outsized and outclassed but he came to give it a go unlike Haye. Wvlads in a league of his own
