Default Wladimir Klitschko vs. Alexander Povetkin is a done deal

All drug testing issues must have been worked out, as both camps announced today that it is a done deal. Fight takes place on October 5th.

Unfortunately, most boxing fans (me included) don't care.

Povetkin has little to no chance of winning, I've been underwhelmed with him and thought Huck beat him.

Second that. Povetkin just isn't that good and he doesn't have the mentality or punch power to bring a wild card into this one. Would have rather seen someone like Wilder or that Stiverne guy fight Povetkin in hopes that they'd dispatch him to get a shot. I'm sure this will be a big money fight in Germany or wherever it's held though, so no brainer for Wlad.

Got to agree with everyone on here wlad, dismantles povetkin inside the distance in a one sided affair, but hell that's how I see every single wlad fight. I used to think a price fight would be fun within a year but the whole thompson debacle showed he's nowehere near ready yet. Kubrat would be fun as hell if he had another three or four inches on him....as it is really doesn't matter who wlad faces.

Wlad will delivere a beating but will he gun for the early KO? And will he produce a highlight reel KO?

Poor Wlad. He's surrounded by mediocrity. I was going to say that for once I will actually be cheering for Wlad to neuter this wait out artist and then it dawned on me that Povetkin was born a eunuch.

I've been critical of Wlad and his record padding with gimmes Mormeck and poor guy whos name I've already forgot ...but I'm glad this is made and actually look forward to it. Povetkins style and mentality wise may be in over his head but all things considered I see him as credible..hopefully...maybe...pretty please

The mormeck and rahman fights were definitely unnecessary but the youngins don't wana fight him, and even if they did it doesn't really matter. Wlads become to cerebral for even the lucky bomb to land, he retires at 40without another loss imo

That's all you can ask of a technical champion, got to appreciate them for what they are, I mean even Sandy Saddlers and Willie Pep padded their record, as well as SRL. So its not a big sin as far as the boxing pantheon is concerned.
