This artical shows how much they offered Skelton and Sprott to take the fight. Skelton was offered £11,000 but wanted £12,000? Sprott was offered £13,000.

Is there anything that shows what theyearnt in other recent fights?

Michael Sprott and Matt Skelton turn down offers to fight Hughie Fury | Latest | Boxing News
Skelton is 46 lost his last 2 on by second round KO.
Sprott is 38 lost his last fight via 1 round KO.

fight someone with a pulse perhaps ?
So its ok for price to Skelton after 3 and a half years but ridiculous for Hughie after only 6 months

Skelton is totally shot , that's my point dickhead.
You make yourself look such a cunt.

A shot ex title challenger is the kind of fodder that someone whos been a pro for only 6 months is supposed to face

Look at Prices record and tell me the calibre of opponent he was facing 6 months in to his career
you don't see that skelton is shot and should retire ?

Yes he should but so should a lot of other fighters.

He is still miles better than the single opponent Price faced in his first 6 months

Also, probably better than anyone Wlad faced in his first 6 months.

My issue is fighting a guy who is totally shot , there is no point.

    Are you for real?

Skelton is a terrible opponent but Tom Dallas would be good?

Skelton knocked Dallas out last year!

The reality is Hughie is fighting very good opposition for any fighter as young for as short as his pro career has been.

Like I said, even todays version of Skelton would beat Wlads first 6 months worth of opponents.

That's a good point and one that many fans overlook, most boxing records are filled with soft opponents at the beginning.
It's too soon to be talking about Hughie being a champion. 9-0 is a good start, in my opinion.

I think Dallas is a live oponant and has some boxing ability , styles make fights, Fury would be favorite but get some rounds in , Dallas is fragile when put under pressure , Fury is a boxer , it would be good experience. thats my opinion.
I would personally steer well clear of the Elephant Seal Skelton , he makes everyone look awful,

    Seriously!

You agree with Al that skelton would be an awful choice of opponent for someone who was only a pro 6 months?

He was deemed worthy enough for Price as his last opponent before Thompson after 3 and a half years as a pro

Then to offer Tom Dallas as a "good" opponent, even though Skelton battered him last year

Wlad hadnt fought any ex world title challengers in his first 6 months and Price had only had one single opponent in his first 6 months!

A bit of Fury prejudice more like

Name me one single heavyweight fighter in todays rankings that fought and ex world title challenger in his first 6 months.......

You didn't read the styles make fights , part ?
you know its is impossible as several of my private messages from other people here , one said "Ross is a waste of time , he is in love with the fury boys."
looking very much like they are right.
For me Hughie couldn't break an egg and that means he will not reach the top.

    Little love messages, sweet

People too gutless to have a public opinion.

Everything iv said is true. How is someone that gets battered by someone who's "totally shot" going to test Hughie more than someone who has the ability to "make everyone look
    awful"?

Your logic is based on your dislike of the Furys, not any kind of common sense at all.

Like I said, learning against ex world title challengers is what Hughie needs. He doesnt want to wait 3 and a half years to fight that level of opponent.

Vendettos is crying because iv mentioned Price

    Whoa whoa whoa!

Chris Arreola is the Elephant Seal. No one else. He's got the nose to prove it.

    Kid?

You are probably the most petulent member in here. Jumping in other peoples topics and branding them rubbish. Starting pointless pathetic shit topics of your own. Talking to people like shit when your flawed logic (that everyone can already see) is pointed out.

As for "love" thats a strong word, like and respect yes. Just because you hate all things Fury, everything is black or white woth them in your eyes.

Hughie is doing more than any other novice pro and is offering good money, better than anyone else offering to genuine tests that the likes of Price and Wlad wouldnt have gone anywhere near inside the first year of their careers, let alone the first 6 months.

Grow up Al and talk boxing rather than just shit.

Skelton or Sprott for a teenager whose not even been a pro for one year is bloody impressive.
