Froch does deserve a rematch for sure if he wants one, but he isn't going to beat Ward and it would probably even be wider the second time around imo. If the fight doesn't happen for whatever reason it's not as if there is unfinished business, Ward clearly won the first and neither really need the other to move forward. It was a shitty fight anyways.
