Miles, if I were to start post full of misconceptions and inaccuracies about say the NHS in the UK or its firearm policy followed by a litany of insults about the people of Britain and how their policies are utter nonsense, the UK crowd would rightfully chastise me for trying to preach my American beliefs to them particularly considering outside of flying through Shannon I've never spent any time in the UK. This is pretty much what you have always done. I don't call you a bigot b/c of your beliefs about US foreign policy b/c that actually has some impact on you but the way you criticize American domestic policy despite not really understanding it is absurd. I wouldn't expect a pass on telling people in another country how I know better than them about their nation, how it should work and how horrible it is and you shouldn't either. Be pissed if you want but it seems what you really don't like is having a mirror put in front of you.

Well said, how does something come from nothing. Objects in motion can not become so without something giving them an original push. Everything is in motion. I respect everyone's belief or lack of, but to me life would be rather useless without God. Of boy, I probably just irked some people.

If you have a problem with something coming from nothing then you are just inventing semantics to cover your own backwards engineering. If God exists and is eternal then in every real sense he has come from nothing. If he has truly always been then he must have co-existed with nothing. Even if like me you are an atheist then one must accept that the big bang is a moment of creation. You can seek to minimise such a miraculous event by as a man inventing a silly reduced concept like God to whom you attribute human attributes but really there is no need and the concept has often been an excuse for barbarity and stunting mans potential. You do not need God to have a reason to live because that reason is love. It is the highest ideal to which we all can strive and has driven our evolution and advancements in many scientific, artistic and social fields by deepening our humanity and potential for compassion.

To believe that life is useless without god is to make yourself much less useful than anyone who thinks for themselves imo. To fear judgement from a personal god to the point where you don't strive to understand things or expand your awareness, only to die and turn to dust like everyone else is about as useless as it gets

Light energy went one way, love energy the other, the split didnt come from nothing it came from everything and we are still making our choice in it.

Most religion followed Earths mental male side dominant way, thats why they call All the powers that be, or God, 'He'. They are dealing with only a half of it, so they can only see a half of what is,its a one eyed view within dualism.Trouble is the opposite view is also one eyed and that is exactly what keeps them in opposite polarity and each side feeds the others existence and keeps people 'busy'.
The truth is in the middle, it exists alone, eternal untouchable by any opposites, it is balanced beyond what can be found outside of it in any direction it never split.

Well perhaps the smaller the mind the easier it is to subscribe. People do not really have free will either, and to believe that while also believing in a heaven and hell is comical really.
