    It's funny, once certain people on here decide they dislike somebody it doesn't matter what happens in their fights, they spin it the same way. That wasn't a boring fight at all, Ward boxed very well after the first couple of rounds and threw the kitchen sink at the guy. It was Rodriguez trying to make it an ugly fight and he wasn't allowed to. Why the hell do people watch if they are just going to see what they want to is the question, watch something else if you're that bored. There's lots of other stuff on the internet you know

    Last night was the first time Ward has actually been deducted points for spoiling but he was being exciting

    That was a masterful display of ringmanship by Ward. SOG Rules. He looked better than Mayweather with his crispness, combinations and ring savvy.

    Ward needs to continually prove himself to you guys. And I think he should, he will and will continue to excel.

    Put anyone between 154 to 175 in with Ward and he will clean them up and out.

    Who I would like to see Ward in with:
    GGG, Chavez Jr., Froch 2, Kessler 2, Martinez, Quillin and Barker. Ward wins them all. Any combination of fights you throw at him.

    He looks boring, like Floyd, because he wins handily and with relative ease.
    Bigger man George, bigger punch!

    No!

    You are trying to make a comparison on the basis that Ward wins.

    Mayweather just fought the biggest threat available to him around his weight, even moved up a weight to face him, not drag him down like dopey old Dawson. Alvarez was and is a massive star but Mayweather beat him by completely boxing his ears off! He didnt hold or butt or have any points deducted, what Floyd did was sublime and masterful.

    Ward just fought who? And he was deducted points because even Wards refs have a breaking point.

    What Ward did was take advantage of what refs will let him get away with.

    Hes like Mayweather! fuck off!

    Ward Rigondeaux and Mayweather just gets the shit end of the stick no matter what. People are gonna treat the Golovkin vs Ward as if Golovkin would just blast through him. What a way to treat people in the Olympics!!! Ward is a great if you think he's boring watch UFC they fight like wild dogs. People want Gatti Ward type fights but there is something called Boxing Masters and that's what Ward practices to be. Sure you can say he's boring at times but he's focused and the Champ and you cannot take that away.

    Ward has beat better fighters than Mayweather has in the last three years in my opinion.

    I think the only place to go is up. He should face the top 175ers.

    The only fight I'm interested in that has a realistic chance of happening is Froch 2 if he's successful against Groves. Its a huge money fight and even bigger in England. He's earned his second go imo and is the second best man in the division. What more can you ask for if he plans on staying at 168?
    I just dont see Ward leaving the womb.

    And if he plans on moving up then he needs to quit saying things like this,

    Andre Ward lays down gauntlet by declaring to knockout ‘delusional’ Froch in rematch

    That was sooo far from a boring fight. u haters continue to say that ward cheat and cheats, show me the examples. rodriquez was holding more than ward, but ward is the bad guy?

    Ward put on a masterclass plain and simple. Yall haters seem to forget that rod had a husge weight advantage, without that he would have been koed.

    Ward was throwing vicious body head combos....and yall say he is boring......wtf

    Forget about that fight for a moment. This is what his own promoter Goossen said afterward;

    Ward needs someone “fresh and dangerous.”
    Tyson threw out the possibility of a fight with Stevenson or Kovalev saying;

    “They could fight at 170,” he said. “Ward goes up two, they come down five. Why not?”
    Wards reply;

    “I’m at a stage of my career that it’s – whatever,” he said at the post-fight press conference, adding that he’d love to take on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., in a pay-per-view fight.

    Followed by;

    “I’m working on my exit strategy right now,”
    Seriously?

    Ward is an excellent fighter inside and out. He's just vanilla though. Doesn't have that X factor.

    Not for me, not on a boxing level anyway. I used to think Froch was useless and a cunt. I now dont think he's useless

    I used to think the same of DeGale but am warming to him as a boxer now.

    Ward never goes through a fight without banging heads or holding and until that changes I will never get excited about watching his fights.
