I don't see a competitive fight. I see a blow out. Only I'm not sure who's the one getting blown out. I can see Froch just getting old of a sudden. But I can also see him just toying with Groves. Either way this fight does have my interest.

Froch ain't old, bro. Froch is on a mission for the Ward rematch. It's building. It has to happen. It's the next mega-fight. I wish I was on the team promoting it.

It's a really intriguing fight and I think it could go either way as well. Froch's chances are perhaps inflated by how easily he blew out Bute, I think Groves really has the right style to give him hell as long as his nerves are in check. Froch has struggled with every good mover or counter puncher he's ever fought, and Groves looks to be really good in both of these areas to me. Saying that Groves has no chance just because of experience is oversimplifying things a bit, I don't see Froch as all that much different a guy than he was when he fought Pascal, Taylor, or Dirrell and didn't have a wealth of experience himself. As long as Groves is truly confident and doesn't get lulled into a brawl it should be interesting. He should do everything he can to tune out the crowd and perhaps even be negative in stretches, he needs to use the whole ring and keep Carl guessing.

Groves has no chance. His heart (an unproven heart at that) may be in it, but his skill isn't there.

The fact that you don't like a fighter doesn't mean he sucks. It doesn't work that way. I don't particular care for Groves myself. But to say he's unskilled is just foolish.

Groves is a good fighter, don't get me wrong. But he is not on the level of Froch.

Froch is on the level of Hopkins, Ward, Dirrell, GGG.

Groves is on the level of Barker, Stevenson, Sturm, Abraham. Good fighters, but just a shade below really great fighters. Groves may not even be at this level, but I will give him that.

Froch is not on the level of Ward and Hopkins. Neither are Dirrell and Golovkin

You do realize Hopkins is almost 49, right?
Forty-nine. That's when you count up to seven, only you do that seven times.

I think we can safely say Froch is beyond Hopkins' level now.
