Yep if anyone's career was shortened last night it was carls. Round after round taking massive head shots. Not what the body needs at 36

I said he was a prick when he first started getting coverage and nothing he's done since has changed that opinion

Missy girl, all fighters talk shit. He's not as bad as Tyson Fury who doesn't even have the talent that froch does. Talking shit is a way a fighter gets more people to watch, Thus makes more money. A fighters career is short. He has to make as much money as he can. Plus Froch is getting old and doesn't have much time left. So let's get off his back. He has had a great career.

Carl is being a prick as his timely retaliation to Georges goading during the build up to this fight. Let's be honest, yes Carl is a prick but George was hardly (and thus probably is not ever) a 'saint' himself.

Having said that - all this post fight Jibba jabba is worrying sign that Carl is adding cherries to a half-baked cake.

We, they, boxing needs the rematch.

I saw the fight. Yes it was stopped too soon. On the other hand Grove was taking a beating in that round. We all know when Froch is putting his shots together he can do some real damage. It was just a matter of time before Grove would hit the canvas. A rematch is in order. Let's not feel sorry for Grove. He has a big payday coming his way.

That is just meaningless conjecture based on none of the available evidence. When was the last time Froch actually sparked anyone out ? Groves had Froch in all kinds of trouble for huge parts of the fight so the only reasonable supposition you could offer is that it was way more likely that a clearly unsettled and clueless Froch was on his way to being beaten, quite probably by stoppage. The reason people feel sorry for Groves is that if that had not happened and he had continued to win a virtual shut out by points the Judges would probably have jobbed him.
