If the fight ever happened Pacquiao better not get tagged by Trinidad, cause if he couldn't take Marquez' punches no way in hell would he stand up to Trinidad's who hit harder than Margacheato, Cotto, and DLH, people are trying to make him a lot more one dimensional than he really was, cause the guy knew how to cut off the ring, he knew how to work the head and body, and knew how to finish a guy off, Pacquiao would have a good chance cause of speed and movement, but if he tried to slug it out or tried to tie up he'd get busted up and badly

Let's be fair, he took a TON of JMM's punches over 4 rounds. He only got felled by a PERFECT punch that he literally leaped into.

he still has been rocked by lesser punchers in the past, Trinidad was p4p one of the biggest punchers ever, even in stoppages where he didn't knock his opponent out look at the damage he inflicted for example his win over Thiam

1,000% disagree. Pac hasn't fought anyone like Tito at 147. Trinidad had HUGE power and if Pac got blasted out by JMM then he'd really be counting sheep if he stepped in with Trinidad. Also, Pacquiao is not a slick boxer/master tactician so he wouldn't make Tito look foolish like Wright did.

I just don't see Tito having the handspeed to catch Pac with anything signifcant on a consistent basis.

Pac is a very slick boxer, not in a Winky Wright or Bhop way, but in his own way where he can dart it, throw major heat, and dart out without getting hit. Trinidad doesn't have the counter punching ability of JMM, or the foot and hand speed to really track Pac down.
I think Pac is poison for Trinidad.

I think Tito most likely knocks him out. Tito had issues with movement because he started to look to get set once he discovered his power. He was not always a stalker. Manny's rinse and repeat attack is not the kind of movement that gives Tito problems and in fact Tito fed on that. It was what finally got Manny leveled. It would not take Tito 4 fights to get it right. Timing negates speed and Tito was one of the best in the business. A great counter puncher which is overlooked because of his power.Tito was a big welter and an even bigger puncher. Even a glancing blow from him would be heavier then a flush shot from Marquez.

Wow, I had no idea the extent of the damage that the JMM KO did to people's perceptions of Pacquaio. I've never really been a big pac fan, but it makes me feel bad for the guy.

Unlike tito, marquez has speed, footwork, exceptional countering ability and is able to punch with pacquaio which is what gave him fits..

On top of that, he has very high ring iq and was the only guy to figure pac out enough to get his timing down..

Are u saying tito has these traits? Lol just cuz marquez was able to exploit pacman, u think tito can do the same? Smh

Well it doesnt cost anything to dream pal so dream on ma man.. u might as well try calling out the tooth fairy too..

Dude Tito would be huge compared to Pacman and lets but honest he has fought no one close to good as him at 147 really. Oscar was drained and 35, Mosley 40 had not won his last fights Pac did not look good, Cotto good win for him, Clotty pretty much a punching bag who throws sometimes and Jmm who he got a gift and then knocked the fuck out in. The point is the 147 division was kinda there to be taken Mayweather retired everyone left was kinda old and best days were in the 90's. Would be a good fight but Pac is not a boxer like Oscar, Bernard and Wright were not sure if that would help him.

I can see Pac beating Trinidad. He would hit and move. In and out all night. Trinidad would follow him around aimlessly looking as lost as he did against Winky Wright.

I rather see Pac try and deal with Ike Quartey's jab instead. I don't think he would handle it

Pac couldn't get past Morales' jab.. He looked like a deer caught in a headlight in their first meeting..

I could only imagine how he would handle Quartey's..

Well the thing with Oscar, Bernard and Wright i feel were better at boxing then Pac and had a hell alot more of a jab and reach. I am not sure who wins but i don't think it would be one sided anyway really. Trindad best win may be a robbery but his division was one of toughest in a while he did pretty good.

I think that that, right there, is why trinidad would beat Pac. At one point Tito had an excellant jab and straight right hand, and he used them. He also was tall, and he used to use that pretty tough as well, like vs barnes. Potentially, he could maintain distance and pick at Pac with the jab and staright right hand the whole fight. beat him up and stop him
At some point, Pac would make that spin out move to his own right- hell, it is his bread and butter move- and that runs him into the left hook. early on as a welter trinidad was a monster and at that point he is way too much for Pac. After he fell in love with his hook and quit throwing other punches, I think he still wins but I am less sure of it.
