Shumenov was signed by Golden Boy presumably so he can face Hopkins and Hopkins can win another belt.

Hopkins can't happen because of HBO.

Pascal/Bute winner makes sense and would be big in Canada. However, whether Pascal would want to face Stevenson is another story.

I'll throw a wild card out there. How about Edwin Rodriguez or Isaac Chilemba?

Same city. Same ethnicity. I'm not sure they're valid reasons, but those could be them. It's like the Philly heavyweights, Chambers, Cunningham, Mansour, Jennings, won't fight each other.
