Khamenei: No Nuclear Weapon Program, No First Strike
    Goal is Energy Independence
Abu Ghrayb, Haditha Weaken US Human Rights Claims

The US media presented only a snippet from the speech of Supreme Jurisprudent Ali Khamenei of Iran on Sunday, in which he threatened to damage oil supplies to the West if the US militarily attacked Iran. He did say that, but he also announced that Iran had no intention of striking first, had not attacked and would not attack another country, and that it has no nuclear weapons program and does not want a nuclear bomb. I didn’t hear any of those statements reported on television.
For some strange reason, a relatively full text of important speeches given by world leaders is almost never provided to the public by any US media in English.

Again, we've got inspectors in their nuclear facilities and have done for years. We have compete knowledge of their nuclear capabilties and have a full accounting of all their uranium. We know they don't have the tech to either build, trigger or launch a nuclear missile. We know they're not even trying to build one. I know the people at Fox have you wetting the bed over Iran's imminent nuclear attack but it's not going to happen.

Iran has the largest and most diverse ballistic missile arsenal in the Middle East. (Israel has more capable ballistic missiles, but fewer in number and type.) Most were acquired from foreign sources, notably North Korea. The Islamic Republic is the only country to develop a 2,000-km missile without first having a nuclear weapons capability.....which could lead one to believe they will work hard to achieve nuclear power status.

Its a MAD policy and its mad to pursue it for the reasons the fear mongers tend to ignore. Not only is it mutual assured destruction but even if Iran strikes first and destroys Israel the fallout would destroy itself.

Its also their right as a sovereign nation to pursue nuclear energy for its peoples needs. Funny how its always those that have the devices telling the world who else can have them. Its always those the west can beat up also. Heads were in the sand apparently when India and Pakistan squired them and now Pakistan is probably the most radicalized population on earth. Leave Iran alone. 80% of the population is 25 and under or something like that. The West should turn its eyes elsewhere starting with the two countries they left completely fucked up.

It's not only Iran vs Israel but also the Saudi's. This is Shia vs Sunni also so if/when (thanks Obama) Iran gets a nuke then the Saudi's will try like hell to get one.

The nuclear standoff was tense enough when it was just the US & the Soviets now it's: USA, England, France, China, Russia, Israel, Pakistan, India, North Korea, and now we're going to add Iran in there as well? Yeah this will work out fabulously, let a bunch of people who sponsor terrorism get their hands on a weapon like a nuclear bomb...that'll be great

You can say "Our inspectors are over there tracking everything" all you want, it's not going to prevent them from getting what they want.

It's easy to build a missile. It's very difficult to make a nuke small enough to put on the missile. It's a good start you actually reading something about this, actually read enough stuff from legitimate sources and you'll realise what a silly bedwetter you've been over Iran and their nonexistent nuclear programme.
