Great advice Andre, never thought about exercising now but could do some stretching and mild exercise as you suggest with no impact.

I never like taking tablets even aspirins, but will consider the fish oils.

I can ride the bike and I use to ride for miles on Sunday but found it boring and dangerous.

Ask Scrap about excersizing on your back. You heal twice as fast as your nervous system is relaxed and yet your cardio is more intense so more blood flows to your worn areas.

Support the knee with a ball or something, squeeze the ball backwards onto your calf etc.

Watch tv with bal under your knee squeeze it roll your knee over on side and squeeze all that sort of thing, trial and errror Just dont repeat anything that hurts.

Had my appointment and the consultant believes I need a knee replacement which at my age is very young. My knee must be really be in a bad way if he is considering that.

Reading up on it at the moment and looks like I will never be able to play sports again.

I used to get terrible shin splints and then my older brothers buddy from Hong Kong told me about this ancient rubbing compound used for centuries. He got me some and it was as thin as water. He told me rub it on but only one way downward towards the foot. It cured my shin splints. I think rats as crazy as it sounds might be part of its makeup. If you have a China town near by it might be worth looking into. It may at least provide some relief.

Btw I remember the smell was rank. Almost eye watering.
