If the fight goes through and somehow I end up watching it, it will be in the slim hopes that...... who am I kidding.
RJJ isn't the one to put Toney flat on his fat ass.

What's going on with these two? Fightnews had an interview with Jones Jr and no mention of James Toney. Also why do it at a weeks notice with no CW set or anything really sorted? Just seems rushed and unlikely. Mind you, it's a fair matchup and Toney will knock him out.
I'm impressed that Toney has stayed in shape. If he can flatten Jones Jr, then the JFAT alliance may just be able to carry on until 2013.

Not happening.
"Well it’s happened again…. after our teams had a verbal agreement Roy Jones Jr has decided to run away from me like a punk ass pussy and fight some French pastry guy that nobody even knows. It’s amazing how this so called “living legend” doesn’t have the balls to man up and fight me again. I miss the days when the biggest fighters and biggest names fought each other, now most of them run away whenever a real challenge presents itself. I hate to disappoint all those who supported me in a rematch with Roy, but you can thank Roy “Got No Balls” Jones for that. No matter what I’ve said in the past about Roy I’ve always respected him as a fighter, but as a man I can’t respect him cause truthfully he’s 100% bitch. All I can do at this point is keep training hard with the hopes that somebody out there is man enough to fight me. To all my real fans I love you all and will keep going hard for you, trust and believe that!
Sincerely Yours,
A REAL Living Legend, James “Lights Out” Toney"

I also like how Roy is the supposedly the bum for not fighting a guy who talk smack for 20 years from behind a stack of cheeseburgers and couldn't commit to road work. Now that he's actually down in weight after trying to diet his way out of obscurity, the entire boxing world should just be breaking down Toney's door with contract in hand for title opportunities and big paydays on two weeks notice. If he saved half the energy he waste talking smack for his training, he may have actually been able to reach the potential he keeps trying to remind everyone about.
Roy proved what he had to prove last time they fought. Now hes lining up a tuneup for Silva in a fight. Maybe Toney's afraid Roy do better against Anderson Silva than he did against Couture.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

That was quite funny.
Toney was less round in Prizefighter and I was genuinely impressed. He won both fights and though ragged in the second fight, believe he was that way because of the limited duration of the contest. Normally he would take his time and pick and choose his punches with more finesse.
Lucas Browne continues to KO opponents and Toney went the distance with him looking like a horrid, Slimer from Ghostbusters and still won a few rounds and rocked Browne on occasion.
It's a shame the Jnr fight has fallen through. Toney should just fight anybody and stay busy. A fight before the end of the year, look sharp, and then see what the new year brings. I really wanted to see Jones Jnr knocked out by Toney, but Jnr isn't completely mad.
