Fuck Kirkland for hitting Tapia like that after he clearly knew the fight was over. His lazy outta shape ass had to sink that low to get the KO. Fuckin pathetic.

I like Kirkland and was rooting for him to destroy this kid, but he behaved like a classless cunt. It was clear his "5 weeks" with Ann Wolfe was all catch up work for not being in shape. He was slow, sluggish, lacked power and unbelievably easy to hit.

His strategy of letting the guy wear out beating his ass in the first round worked again. Lucky for him he was fighting Tapia and not Lara or Trout. Or Cotto. Or Canelo....

I don't think the last punch Kirkland landed was a cheap shot. He was already throwing the punch when Smoger came between them. I don't hold it against him.
