Your right there he did offer Hopkins one 60 40 but Hopkins declined.
This fight is basically Froch's version of Calzaghe-Reid then?

I was going to say reid but i feel that lacy was coming on strong in the 12th round and deserved another shot.

I never had a lot of respect for Froch in the first place, but I have absolutely zero respect for him now. He's scared to fight Groves again and there's no getting away from that. The excuses he's making are pathetic and his memory of what happened during the fight seems a little "skewed" to say the least. I can only put this down to the sheer number of largely unanswered punches Groves hit him with while beating the shit out of him from the very first round.

Why does he think anyone wants to see him fight Ward again? I'd rather watch paint dry than see another dull and one-sided fight between those two. The only fight that makes sense is a rematch against Groves.

He talks about his legacy, but let's be realistic here. Carl Froch is an incredibly limited and technically very poor boxer who has got to where he is because of his amazing stamina and granite chin. Groves was beating him up and making him look like a clown and it's not the first time he's got lucky or been completely outclassed. All this talk of Calzaghe is absolute bollocks. Calzaghe would have humiliated him in the same way Ward and Groves did, only Carl wouldn't have had the luxury of a ridiculously early stoppage to bail him out in that fight.

Stop making excuses Carl and try living up to your reputation as a fighter who will fight anyone, anywhere. Right now you're looking like you're scared of a guy who you said wasn't in your league.
