You nailed it. Why Arum slept on him I'll never know. Arum kind of works along the lines of Microsoft and other Tech giants. He keeps things on the shelf to ensure that all first buy that which came before it. Use it up and introduce the next. He underestimates the effects of entropy in this regard.
Gamboas best years were spent on the shelf.

Gamboa most likely wont get a TR fighter so he might want to turn his eyes elsewhere. I'm sure Gb could get him a fight. Put him in with that kid Bogere who just lost to Abril.
