I haven't seen either fight, or the guy at all. Weird record for sure, he beat nobody at all and rarely fought anyone with more wins than losses, but obviously wasn't afraid. Must have had some kind of following? Club fighter with a fanbase and good promotion maybe?

Butch Lewis and Don King with a glossy unblemished but misleading record and a room full of monkeys. Pretty much it brother. He fought a flat Moorer who just went through the motions, so bad Teddy Atlas bailed on him as trainer the next day.

I thought because he signed with King he got ranked by the corrupt alphabet boys to get a title shot. If you signed with King, you would have gotten a title shot. You may not get paid but if somehow you won you would be tied to him for the next 25 years.
